1- PREAMBLE

This website is edited by Expe-Spelemat, whose registered office is located at 2925 Route du Vercors - 38680 Auberives-en-Royans - France, registered with the Trade Register under number Grenoble 327357570.

These terms and conditions are for persons or corporations wishing to order on www.expe.fr website. They are subject to French law and Expé gives no guarantee of compliance with local legislation applicable in another country. The website is available in French and English, please visit the dedicated version of the website to place your order.

2- ORDERS

You can order on www.expe.fr website, by telephone, by fax, by email (serv-commande@expe.fr) or by mail. All orders placed with the company Expe-Spelemat implies that the buyer accepts the terms and conditions. The command can be registered on the website only if you are clearly identified entering your email address and your password. The data provided by the buyer and recorded by Expé when ordering constitute evidence of transactions between the buyer and Expé. Validation click at the end of the ordering process is the confirmation of the order, and constitutes an electronic signature of the same value as a handwritten signature. The final validation of the order becomes effective after the confirmation of payment. After placing your order, we send you by email, an acknowledgement of receipt including a summary of ordered items and shipping address.

After registration of the order, a printable detailed invoice will be available on www.expe.fr website under "My Account". Order information is archived for a period of 10 years at the head office of Expé company. You have the ability to view archived data by making a request to Expé company.

Expé reserves the right to refuse an order in cases where the buyer has not fully or partially settled a previous order, or in the case of litigation over payment.

3- PRICES

Our prices are expressed in euros. They are calculated accurately, therefore we are unable to give any discount for any reason whatsoever. Expé reserves the right to make changes without notice in the case of increased charges, including VAT rates, and in the case of manifest error. Invoices will be made on the basis of rates at the time of the order. You must pay, in addition to the price of the products, delivery fees to be specified before confirming the order. This participation depends on ordered products, as well as the place and mode of delivery.

Note: For an optimized customer service, we make regular automatic updates of www.expe.fr website. During these operations, transmission errors can cause errors in price. In this case, the oreder will not be honored and you will be quickly notified.

4- CONTROLS AND EXPORT DUTIES

All orders shipped outside the European Union and in the overseas territories will be automatically billed excluding tax.

Import formalities, customs duties and any taxes associated with the delivery of an item outside the EU and in overseas territories, are paid by the buyer and under its exclusive responsibility. They must be paid to the competent authorities of the country of delivery. The buyer is solely responsible for the verification of the possibilities to  import the ordered products under the law of the country of delivery. Expé is not required to check and inform the buyer of duties and taxes. To know them, Expé advises the buyer to ask the competent authorities of his country. Please note that by ordering on the website, you are considered the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country where you will receive the goods. Cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening procedure and inspection by customs.

5- DELIVERY

You can choose various delivery methods depending on time delivery and the country where you want to be delivered:

Classic delivery in metropolitan France, home and away from home, by So Colissimo with La Poste Livraison So Colissimo Expé

You can be delivered to your place or to the address of your choice, subject only to the payment of the fixed contribution to shipping. You will be delivered by La Poste Colissimo 72h starting from the output of your parcel from our workshops. To calculate the delivery date, expect about 2 to 5 days after confirmation of your order for the items in stock and 10-15 days for those which are not. For non-standard package, delivery is guaranteed under the same conditions by our partner carrier.

You can also choose to be delivered in a store near the address of your choice. This includes post offices and shops in the So Colissimo network. Time and shipping rates are the same that delivery method above. By choosing delivery to a relay, you will be redirected to the website So Colissimo from La Poste. The information appearing therein, are the property of La Poste.

You can be delivered to the address of your choice worldwide. Delivery will be made by DHL International within 5-14 days from the release of your parcel from our workshops. If you buy several products at the same time, if one of the items is not available delivery can be moved back, the order will be prepared when all the products are in stock at Expé. Shipping rates are calculated based on the destination and items ordered when validating the order.

Fast delivery in metropolitan France - Expé Express service by Chronopost (Fedex) Livraison Chronopost Expé

Select Chronopost delivery (express home delivery) in the modes of delivery during checkout and your order will be treated as a priority. Delivery against signature is done by Fedex, no later than 48 hours in France, after receipt of your order and your payment (some cities may be delivered in more than 48 hours).
You will be delivered at home or at the place of your choice between 8 am and 1 pm, against signature. In case of absence, notice will be left in the mailbox if accessible and the package is deposited at the post office or Fedex agency.

Order before 10:30 am and your order will be shipped the same day. Delivery time can thus be reduced to 24 hours in France, depending on the areas.

Be careful if you pay by check or bank transfer, the period runs from the morning we receive your payment. This service is not compatible with non-standard items (skis, pulkas and some fragile products).

Are neutralized: Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and our few days of closing. In August, we do everything we can to meet the 48 hours, despite our small staff. Our commitments are valid while stocks last. Any balance is sent to you at our expense in normal speed shipping once restocked.

You can come and collect your order for FREE in the Expé store of your choice. This service is completely supported by Expé, delivery times are longer, from one to two weeks.



Expé agrees to deliver of the ordered items in the shortest time according to the method of delivery chosen and the availability of items. However we cannot guarantee any delivery times, they also depend on the carrier and weather conditions. Indicated delivery times are average times and correspond to usual processing times and routing. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are neutralized. If a product is not available within a reasonable time, Expé reserves the right to split shipments, participation in shipping will be charged on the basis of a single shipment.

Be careful: Before going on holiday and just before Christmas, our time and those of our partner carriers tend to increase. If you can, plan ahead.

You can track the status of your order under "My Account" on the website www.expe.fr. Monitoring the delivery can be made directly on the website of our partners with the tracking number we will provide you.

6- SHIPPING & PACKAGING COSTS

CLASSIC delivery in metropolitan France

- At home: For each sending a flat fee of € 7.90 is charged to you. Free delivery is available from € 120 purchase.

- Out of Home (Post offices and selected retailers): For each sending a flat fee of € 5.90 is charged to you. Free delivery is available from € 90 purchase.

- FREE SHIPPING with € 90 minimum purchase delivered in post offices and selected retailers and with € 120 minimum purchase delivered at home: Out of the total price including charge of the cart for classic deliveries (So Colissimo) in metropolitan France only. Valid only for orders placed over the Internet.

FAST delivery in metropolitan France

- At home: A flat fee is charged according to the weight of your order: € 19 up to 10 kg; € 25 up to 20 kg; € 30 up to 30 kg.

International delivery, overseas departments and territories

The amount of shipping will be calculated automatically at the end of your order depending on the delivery method chosen, the delivery zone and weight of your order.

Exception

Warning, some items very heavy or with special conditions of carriage (pulkas, training boards for climbing, gas cartridges), can only be delivered by a special carrier and shipping costs will be calculated at the end of the order.

We insure for free your package against the risk of loss during transport. You would in this case be refunded after an investigation by the insurance company. Open the package in the presence of the carrier. In case of damage, make all reservations on the carrier: it is the only responsible. Confirm by registered letter within three days. The carrier will reimburse you.

7- PAYMENT

You can choose several ways to pay for your order.

MasterCard or Visa credit card

Expé secured payment

This payment method is preferred for online orders. It allows fast processing of your order.
In addition, your payment is totally secured by encryption. Elements of the transaction are transmitted directly to GIE Credit Cards through the secured payment website Ogone without us or anybody seeing, and thus possibly hacking your credit card.
Expé bonus: We charge your credit card only when shipping. This payment only applies to the goods actually delivered. Several debits can be made in case of multiple partial deliveries.

Bank Transfer

You can pay by bank transfer. Be careful in this case, we expect to receive your transfer in our bank account before sending the goods. This payment method is incompatible with fast receipt of your order. In addition, the bank charges for transfers made from a country outside the European Union are the charge of the customer.
Do not forget to include your order number in the subject line (pattern) of the transfer.

PayPal

PayPal Logo


PayPal is a service that allows you to pay online without sharing your financial information. To secure your purchase, PayPal encrypts and secures your credit card information and never communicates it to the recipient of your payments. After creating a PayPal account, you simply use your username PayPal (email and password) and do not enter information about your credit card anymore. Pay online with PayPal does not cost you more than using your credit card.

Be carefull

If paying by check, money order or bank transfer, delivery time will begin to run until the date of actual receipt of your payment. We ask you to join to your payment, your order number.

In conformity with Article 121-II of Law No. 2012-387 of 22 March 2012, the flat rate for recovery costs due to the creditor in the event of late payment is € 40 by Decree No 2012 -1115 of 2 October 2012..

8- RESERVE OF PROPERTY

The goods remain our property until full payment of their price, including shipping. Risks relating to the goods sold are however transferred to the buyer upon delivery, which is deemed effective upon receipt of the product by the consumer.

9- LITIGATIONS

Any litigation as to the nature or quantity of received items must be made to us within 48 hours after receipt.

We believe to resolve directly with you any difficulties that may arise in the execution of your orders and payment. However, in case of irreducible dispute, the competent court will be those of the domicile of the defendant.

10- RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have 15 days time to exercise your right of cancellation from the date of receipt of the last ordered item. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us of your decision to cancel our order through an unequivocal statement (eg letter sent by mail, fax or email). You can use the return or exchange form to download here.

Are excluded from the right of withdrawal perishable goods, alcoholic beverages, personalized goods, indivisible goods, sensitive goods (health), fully implemented services, periodicals and magazines, audio or video recordings.

Freight collect shipments will be refused.

11- WARRANTY, RETURN

Before returning a product, to avoid any misunderstanding or mishandling, ask us permission by phone at +33 (0)4 76 36 02 67 or by email serv-commande@expe.fr.

New Items: psossible return within 15 days

Any item that does not suit you will be taken back. You do not have to justify the return. Clothing that size does not fit, will be exchanged. Gear must be returned as new and strictly in original packaging within 15 days. In exchange for the returned items, you can either request an exchange, or receive a credit of the same amount valid for 1 year at Expé, or be refunded (delivery fees included, equivalent to the standard and less expensive delivery method).

Collect shipments will be refused.


Used items

Items are sold under the sole manufacturer warranty.

Is obviously excluded from this warranty normal wear and tear in use. Items returned for repair or warranty claim must necessarily be clean and dry.

For new or used items, attach an explanatory letter and the invoice or a copy.

Expé reserves the right to change the range of items on the website and their technical characteristics.
